Introduction to Macro Photography with Kim Ritsema Mettler

Skill Level: Beginner – Intermediate
Cost:  $40
Equipment to bring: Current camera (point-and-shoot –OR– SLR),  available lenses, tri-pod, if you have one.  This workshop is intended for anyone, from beginner-to-intermediate, looking to further their skill set when photographing detail within nature. There will be a one-hour presentation, covering the basics of macro nature photography.  This will include a discussion on equipment necessary, basic camera function and shot composition/selection.  After the presentation, we will move outdoors for about an hour of assisted shooting, followed by a sack-lunch, continued discussion and an opportunity for questions/answers.  In case of inclement weather, the assisted shooting would be replaced by additional discussion and questions.
