Colored pencil is an exciting medium used to explore a variety of subjects. This class will introduce you to colored pencil, the different materials available, and techniques Amanda Keithley uses such as layering and burnishing colors. You will create a piece of artwork representing a still life subject using a provided reference photo. Professional drawing paper, pencils and solvent will be provided by the instructor for a small materials fee or you can bring your own supplies to use.
Colored pencil is a great way to explore the world around you, and I look forward to guiding you through the process!

Shrine Making Class
Wednesday, August 6
1:00 - 4:00pm
Instructor: Rebecca Glotfelty
$35/ materials provided. Minimum 3 people.

We will begin the afternoon by centering ourselves with a brief meditation and gentle yoga poses followed by an afternoon of opening our hearts to what we hold sacred. Using the materials provided (template, paint, paper etc.) plus any photographs, milagros, or other keepsakes participants bring, we will create a table top shrine like the one pictured. This workshop is available to private parties of three or more.
